Tomorrow is Day 1!

Today's odd weather of sun, nasty looking clouds & torrential rain played itself out east as well where Pat was hoping to get in a day's racing at Shannonville.

When he arrived home earlier than expected, I figured racing was a washout, which it was! Good thing because there are still a few things to do before we leave.

I took a few pics of what I packed. Includes 2 pair jeans, t-shirts, undergarments & socks for 1 wk, couple long sleeve shirts, bathing suit, 1 pr shorts, couple of tank tops, one belt, towel, washcloth, hat, running shoes, flip-flops & blk tights for extra warmth on the bike and sleeping in the tent.

Here is my motorcycle gear for the trip - jacket, gloves, back-up gloves, wet weather gloves, scarf, neck warmer, rain gear, boots, rain boot covers, coat liner.

I looked at campsites for our first few stops. Monday evening we'll be in Smith Falls at the municipal campground. Tuesday - we'll stop just before Quebec city & Wednesday we plan to stop near Tadoussac, the oldest town in North America.

Yikes! The weather is not ideal the next few days.....rainy, cool. Hopefully no snow showers!

Here is a pic of our route heading north from Quebec, moving east through Labrador. After taking the ferry to Nfld, we'll drive south past Gros Morne park & take the ferry to N.S.

Will make our way back through New Brunswick, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, then home again!
